Throughout the coming week, I will be sharing brief devotional reflections inspired by this past Sunday's sermon. My hope is that these reflections will help you deepen your understanding and carry the message with you as you go through the days ahead.

Devotional Reflection

Grief is an inevitable part of life. It can come in many forms, such as the loss of a loved one, a job, or even a dream. During these times, it's important to slow down and look up to God. He is the source of all mercies and wants to speak to us in our moments of sorrow. By taking the time to pause and connect with Him, we can find the strength and comfort we need to navigate through our grief.

Bible Verse

2 Corinthians 1:3-4: 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.'

Reflection Questions

What prevents you/others from slowing down and looking up to God during times of grief or sorrow?

How can you make time to slow down and connect with God during your moments of grief?

 Prayer

Dear Lord, help me to slow down and look up to You in my times of grief. Remind me that You are the source of all mercies and that You are always with me, ready to provide comfort and strength. Amen.
